Lauren Mayer says she is an entertainer and that she got her sense of humor from her father. I think there is more to it on all counts. She is surely an entertainer but does so much under the title of “entertainer” that you have to hear it to know how far reaching it is. She is a working comedienne, writes her own material, plays the piano, sings, acts, produces her recordings and videos, coaches acting, is a wife, and is a the mother of two sons.
To listen to Lauren talk about her life, her work, her father, her mother and her two boys is a joy. My hat’s off to her for holding up nice high and respectful expectations she has of her two sons. Raising boys is a serious business that might be done best with a good sense of comedy especially in the areas of etiquette and sex in today’s world.
